She fell against the door, locking it, then jumped on Lucien, her legs wrapping around his waist, and continued to kiss him with the passion she’d been holding inside since she last saw him. She leaned back just enough to reach the hem of her tank to pull it over her head.

“Hang on,” he said. “If you’re in this bad shape, we don’t even have time for that.” He stood her on the floor, unzipped her jeans, and tugged them down. While she stepped out of them, he opened his own jeans and freed his erection.

“Oh god, yes,” she murmured, grabbing him.

“Excuse me,” a voice said from above and slightly behind Ryenne.

She and Gavin glanced up and saw the guy from the next table. She looked over. The woman wasn’t there.

“Sorry to interrupt your meal but I couldn’t help noticing you,” he said. “My girlfriend and I have an open relationship. I was hoping you might let me borrow your girl.”

Ryenne’s eyebrows shot up. “His girl?”

A huge smile broke across Gavin’s face.

“This girl,” Ryenne said, “makes up her own mind. And this girl has no intention of doing anything with you, open relationship or not.”

“Come on, baby, you might like it,” the man said.

Ryenne gave Gavin a look that she hoped conveyed “Is this guy for real? What decade is this?”

The smile on Gavin’s face grew wider and he sat back in his chair as if ready to watch a show.

Exciting news, friends! The Shifter Hunters Ltd. series is coming out of Kindle Unlimited!

This means that if you don’t buy your books at Amazon, where the 3 Shifter Hunters Ltd. books have been exclusively on sale since last year, you’ll finally be able to buy this series. This is the steamy and action-packed conclusion of Ryenne’s adventure. I hope you have enjoyed reading this series as much as I enjoyed writing it. I’ve enjoyed it so much, in fact, that I’m not ready to leave this world I created. My next series, which doesn’t yet have a name or a release date, will be set in this world and will focus on some minor characters we meet in Books 2 and 3. And it will be set in Paris!!

Happy Book Birthday to Kenya Calling!

This metaphor feels particularly apt since I spent the past 9 months (plus – just like pregnancy) working on Kenya Calling and the Shifter Hunters Ltd. trilogy and it’s been a labor of love. And just plain labor. lol

I’m so happy my readers will finally have the chance to read Kenya Calling – to meet Ryenne and Lucien and Gavin, and follow them on their journey of mystery, suspense, and love.

How did this book come about?

I wanted to write something a little different for me while still staying true to myself and my interests in Africa and France.  Kenya Calling is mostly set in Kenya (of course), and Book 2, Wolves of Paris, is set in Paris (of course). Book 3, Lord of New York, gives a nod to my roots because it’s set in New York City and I grew up outside New York City.

While I’ve really enjoyed writing Ryenne and her relationship with Lucien (he’s one of my swooniest heroes yet), Gavin stole my heart.  He was just so much fun to write! If enough readers are interested, I’ll consider writing Gavin his own book or trilogy. But don’t worry, he makes an appearance in all three books of the trilogy, plus in the prequel short story, Vegas Rogues.

Keep an eye out for the Wolves of Paris cover reveal. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy Kenya Calling. You can buy it now on Amazon or read it for free through Kindle Unlimited.
