The Summer of No Travel but Thanks for the Memories

Well, the pandemic kept us home this summer, but at least we can look back at good memories from past summer trips. Keep an eye out for my #TBT (Throwback Thursday) posts on my Instagram in the coming months, as well as pix that show how I spent my summer (SPOILER alert, lots of time outdoors with the puppy and enjoying the garden), and take a peek below for some of my favorites.

Tori’s Quirks – Quarantine TV Edition Part II

Tori's TV Quirks

Who knew I’d be home and out of work for so long? So here’s another installment of my “quarantine” TV quirks. Feel free to share your own in the comments!

A note on language: My husband and I like to watch shows in their original language. We just find the original actors’ voices much more natural. Also, I’m a total language nerd and I love to hear different languages and try to find sounds I recognize. But all of the shows I watch in a language other than English can also be watched in English, so you do you.

Bordertown – a Finnish cop show set in a town that borders Russia (in Finnish)
Cardinal – a Canadian cop show with Billy Campbell
Crazy Delicious – not our favorite cooking show, but we love Carla Hall
Documentary Now – a series of mockumentaries that spoof real documentaries, with Fred Armisen and Bill Hader
Fauda – an Israeli spy show (in Hebrew and Arabic)
Hinterland – a Welsh cop show with stunning landscapes
Lilyhammer – in which an American with mafia ties hides away in Norway with comedic results (in English and Norwegian)
Ramy – a dramedy about an Egyptian-American trying to find himself and his place in his religion and in his country (in English and Arabic)
Teen Wolf – TV series loosely based on the Michael J. Fox movie. Lots of hot shifter action.
The Alienist – a psychological detective series set in 1890s New York City
The Bachelor – Greatest Seasons Ever – I’ve gotta have 1 guilty pleasure dating show!
The Big Family Cooking Showdown – a spin-off of the Great British Bake-Off in which British families compete with their family-favorite recipes

Saving Their Wolf is Free, Everywhere

Paris Harem Saving Their Wolf

Book 1

Good news, friends!

Saving Their Wolf, Book 1 of my new paranormal reverse harem series, is now free at all ebook retailers.

AND, I’ve moved up the release dates of the other two books in the trilogy.

Paris Harem is about Catherine Malraux, a young wolf shifter who recently returned to Paris to start a new life and rebuild her relationship with her estranged father. Along the way, she faces danger and suspense, and discovers that she has not just one fated mate, but three! All three men are hot (of course!) but very different.

Nico, an apprentice chef, is French and human.

Reid, an American red wolf shifter is visiting his friend…

Martin, an elephant shifter and psychiatrist originally from Senegal.

Once you’ve downloaded Saving Their Wolf, you can buy Saving Her Human (releasing on October 20th) and Saving Her Mates (December 1st).

They walked into Bar Blanc hand in hand, and Catherine looked around for the guys. Her eyes adjusted quickly to the dim ambiance and she found them immediately on stools at the bar, at the back of the long narrow space. She smiled and tugged Nico by the hand.

“There they are.” Catherine gestured toward her new friends. Next to her, Nico made a sound, but she had already started forward, a wide smile on her face.

Reid and Martin smiled back and then caught a glimpse of Nico trailing behind her and their faces froze.

Catherine looked from them to Nico, confused.

“Nicholas?” Martin asked, his voice a low rumble.

Nico nodded.

Catherine continued to look between each of the three men. “You guys know each other?”

The room was empty, thank goodness, and the door had a lock. Reid shoved the lock home and turned to her with a predatory glint in his eyes.

Anticipation filling her, she stepped backward as he prowled toward her. She couldn’t keep the grin from her face. When her back hit the sinks, she waited for him, anxious to see what he would do. They hadn’t done more than kiss yet, quite heatedly, their hands exploring a bit under their respective clothing. Here, in this public restroom, would they dare to do more?

He reached her and yanked her head toward him, then took her mouth in a bruising kiss that left her panting. With his other hand, he stroked her thigh, pushing underneath her short skirt. At first he just kissed her and teased her inner thigh with his fingers.

But as the intensity of the kiss grew, so did the franticness of his movements.

A well of emptiness deep in her belly was filling with need. The feel of his lips on hers was heaven and she couldn’t get enough. She never wanted it to end.
